Webster Student Pick-up Procedures
At the end of the school day, we want to be sure each child leaves school safely and in the hands of the appropriate people. We hope this procedure successfully accomplishes all our goals.
The outside door to the cafeteria is unlocked at 3:10. You may enter and wait at that time if you wish.- Students are released from their classrooms at 3:17. Please be patient, as some teachers have last minute instructions, and some students are surprisingly slow getting to the cafeteria.
- Students will enter the cafeteria and sit.
- When your child has entered the cafeteria, parent may line up at the proper exit point to sign out the child. The stations are by Child's Last Name: A-F, G-O, P-Z.
- Teacher/volunteer calls for the child to come and exit through the station.
By stating the child's name, the people in charge of the station will be able to get to know you and your child by sight, and the hand-off will become much faster and more efficient. We typically getting all parents on their way within 10 minutes.
