What is School-Wide PBS (Positive Behavior Support) |
|
PBS is a process for creating safer and more effective schools. It is a school-wide commitment to utilize research-based support systems for student behavior. The process focuses on improving our ability to teach and support positive behavior for all students. PBS includes school-wide expectations intended for all students and all staff in all settings. It is an approach to create a safe and productive learning environment where teachers can teach and all students can learn. PBS means that students will know exactly what is expected of them. Students who take responsibility to behave positively will be recognized and rewarded in different ways.

Citizenship Awards Citizenship Awards recognize students who have displayed school expectations on a consistent basis throughout the quarter.
