As the principal of Hubble Elementary, I would like to welcome you and your family to the

2014-2015 school year.

My name is Julie Hampton and this is my fourth year in the Marshfield School District as principal at Hubble Elementary. My husband (JR) and I reside in Fair Grove with our son (John Thomas) who is 4 1/2 years old.

Research confirms that parental interest and involvement in a child's education is the most significant reason children succeed in school and I am looking forward to the partnership we will have to make sure your child has a successful school year. I encourage frequent communication between families and staff.  If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact me.

I look forward to the opportunity to be part of your child's education and thank you for your support as we work to help you child start his/her educational career off right!

Make sure you know your child's security code and only share it with those that you have a life-long trusting relationship with you.

All bus information must be set up through the central office.

All notes you send in with your child must have his/her security code, full name, teacher's name, date and parent signature.

School Lunch and Breakfast

We all know how hectic mornings can be for a family. Please remember that we have a warm breakfast and lunch available to all children every day.

We serve breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. every morning.

All prescription medicines must be in an accurately labeled container from the pharmacy.

When you get a prescription filled, just ask the pharmacy for an empty labeled bottle for the school.  They will provide this at no extra charge.

Prescription medications must be delivered to the school by a parent or responsible adult.

Children are not allowed to have medications on the bus.

Thank you for your help in keeping children safe by cooperating with this school policy.

Safety Issues

Make sure you and your child are following safety procedures at the crosswalk areas before and after school.

Our school resource officer wants to make sure everyone is being safe.Make sure your children are buckled up and/or in car seats before you leave campus.

Transportation changes need to be in the office no later than 2:15.  Notes must be written, delivered to the classroom, and shared with the teacher and student to make sure each child goes home where they are supposed to each day.  Please do NOT leave a message or e-mail a transportation change.  You need to talk to someone in the office or write a note with any transportation changes.
